How Would A Lean To Green House Help Heat A Building?

I was wondering if there would be any advantages to having a lean to greenhouse, and if there would be any way to take advantage of it for the whole house?

  1. Nunitak says:

You can cycle air from greenhouse to building and back.

Keeps greenhouse from too hot and building from too cold.

  2. Philo says:

Short wave infrared radiation passes through glass, bounces around, and in the course of heating things up becomes long wave infrared that does NOT pass through glass. Thus the heat inside a car, for example, builds up very quickly. You can actually cook things in a glass box.
