Hi.
I’[ve taken alot of cuttings from various plants. potted them in potting soil with fertilizer and put them all under an upside down fish tank to make a mini greenhouse.
The heat stays in and so does the water, the water sticks to the walls.
I’m just wondering if they need air holes or air flow? and any other tips you can give me are appreciated thanks.
That method will not work. However it is a good method to grow mold and fungus. Raise the aquarium about and inch off the surface and put blocks in the corners so that plenty of air can blow under and through. Plants will not grow if the temperature is near 100(and that happens fast) just leave a thermometer in there and watch. Real greenhouses have roof vents that open up when the temperature exceeds perfect growing temperatures.
