Cost To Install A Misting System And Heat Or Solar For Greenhouse?

My green house is 48 square feet. How much would a misting system or electrical cost me? Right now, I am having a bucket filled with water, 30 gallons. And a fan running. I m building a soaking panel, but it’s not finished yet.

For about $30, you can get a kit by Arizona Mist at a home improvement store that’s about 10 feet of tubing and a set of 5 misting nozzles. You can buy multiple kits to splice them together to make whatever sized system you need. If you have more than one tube connected, though, you should use the 3/8 inch tubing instead of the cheaper 1/4 inch.

Here’s a website that features the various products that Arizona Mist puts out: http://www.mrdrip.com/arizonamist.htm

Electrical would be a few hundred dollars, depending on how far the cabling has to be run and whether you have room on your main electrical panel for a new breaker. It would also have to be GFCI, since it’s outdoors.

48 sq.ft. is tiny (6X8) you could get by with a hose and spray nozzle, and just spray it a few times a day.Or you could go to Home depot or Lowe’s and buy their smallest set up.Any real cost would be incurred only if you went with an automated system(ie timers, humidity detectors, water valves)
